The Minerva Town Board carried multiple routine motions during its Nov. 20 semi-monthly meeting, approving financial audits, department reports, personnel actions and several budget transfers.
Among the recorded actions, the board approved Abstract Audit of Vouchers 11-2025 (vouchers 2025-631 through 2025-700) and Operating and Cash Report statements for October 2025. The board also approved hiring Keith Iverson as a temporary parks laborer at $18.35 per hour (retroactive to Nov. 10, 2025) and authorized a prepayment invoice (#1017910) of $1,431.35 to Hoffman Radio Network LLC. Eligible health insurance buyouts were approved for two employees: $625.00 to Daniel Palmer and $2,375.00 to Patrick Strohmeyer.
The board approved multiple budget line transfers— including $7,122.88 to State Retirement and $10,671.70 from Roost Fund Balance to Roost C/E—detailed in the minutes. Department reports for October 2025 (Town Clerk, Transfer Station, Food Pantry, Building and Code Enforcement, and Minerva Volunteer Fire & Rescue) were also approved. Almost every motion was recorded as carried by roll call with an aye vote from McNally, Dubay, LaBar and Fish; no nays were recorded.
The minutes list these as Motions #289–#304; the board recorded no dissent and no motions were tabled.
