"The building department is requesting that the fee charged for fire inspections be increased to $100 from $50.00," the board recorded; Trustee Matt Soleau moved the change and Trustee Katie Cariello seconded the motion, which passed 5–0.
Board minutes do not record debate on the fee other than the formal motion and vote. The change takes effect following the board's approval and will alter the charge for municipal fire inspections from the prior $50 level to $100 per inspection.
