Millerton postpones SEQRA review for Veterans Park CDBG project; forwards plans to Dutchess County Planning

Mayor Jenn Najdek told the Board of Trustees the village will postpone its State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) review for the CDBG 2024 Veterans Park improvements until Dutchess County Planning completes its review. Najdek said the village’s attorney recommended deferring SEQRA and sending the project manual and plans to the county for comment.
Trustee Katie Cariello moved and Trustee Matt Soleau seconded a motion to send the project manual and plans to Dutchess County Planning Department for review; all four present members agreed. The board will resume the SEQRA determination after receiving the county’s response.
