The Village of Millerton Board of Trustees opened its Jan. 27 business meeting with routine approvals. Trustee David Sherman moved to approve the Jan. 12, 2026 minutes; Trustee Katie Cariello seconded and all five present trustees voted in favor.
In other routine business, the board approved Voucher #2022748–2022777 dated Jan. 27, 2026, authorizing payments totaling $61,410.87 (General $10,067.86; DPW/Fire Expense $36,179.64; Water $15,163.37). Deputy Mayor Hartzog moved the voucher resolution and Trustee Matt Soleau seconded; the motion passed with unanimous assent.
Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Cope presented the December 2025 treasurer's report and noted that budget discussions for the next fiscal year will begin soon. Trustee Sherman moved to accept the treasurer's report; Deputy Mayor Hartzog seconded and the board voted 5–0 to accept it.
