At its Aug. 14 regular meeting, the Abbott I.S.D. Board of Trustees approved the district’s tax rates for the 2024–2025 school year.
The board adopted a Maintenance & Operations (M&O) tax rate of $0.71730 per $100 (Agenda Item No. 9) and an Interest & Sinking (I&S) tax rate of $0.36027 per $100 (Agenda Item No. 10), for a combined total tax rate of $1.07757 per $100 (Agenda Item No. 11). Motions to adopt each rate were made by Lauren Wolf and seconded by Craig Sustala, and each motion passed unanimously (7–0).
