The Town Board on Jan. 13 appointed several town officials and staff. Supervisor Chad Niles appointed Angela Debeer as Bookkeeper to the Town Supervisor and as Budget Officer; Adam Deuyour was appointed Deputy Town Supervisor. Superintendent of Highways Helm announced the appointment of Stacey Langdon as Deputy Highway Superintendent and reported Highway Department hires (Joseph Villnave and Curtis Lucey). The board adopted the appointments by unanimous consent.
Other confirmed appointments included Maurice Bright and Gene Bashaw as Town Historians (co‑presidents of the Moira Historical Association, Inc.), Ann Dabiew as Clerk to Town Justice Durant, Cindy Gale as Deputy Town Clerk and Deputy Registrar, and several one‑year appointments such as Code Enforcement Officer Bruce Ploof and Dog Control Officer Christina Gilbow. Each appointment was recorded in the minutes and adopted by unanimous consent.
