Moira board adopts $1.63 million FY2026 budget

At a Nov. 18 special meeting, the Town Board of Moira adopted the FY2026 final budget totaling $1,628,255. The motion to adopt Resolution #147-2025 was made by Councilman Justin Robinson and seconded by Supervisor Chad Niles; the board recorded a roll-call vote of four ayes and no nays.
The resolution states the board held a public budget hearing on Nov. 12, 2025 and received no comments at that hearing. The adopted budget figure was included in the resolution language: “the Town Board of the Town of Moira hereby adopts the Final Budget for the Town of Moira for FY2026 attached hereto and made a part hereof in the amount of $1,628,255.00.”
The vote was recorded as Niles—Aye; Trimm—Aye; Deuyour—Aye; Robinson—Aye, with the motion carried 4–0. The board then moved on to other business and adjourned at 6:17 p.m.
