She told the board the St. Lawrence Gas pilot payment of $40,324 is not included in this year’s draft and the revenue side was increased by $2,000 to reflect State Aid for the Summer Recreational Program.
DeBeer said the board agreed to raise the building‑permit revenue estimate by $2,000 and that Highway Superintendent Mike Helm will check sale sites to estimate a potential truck sale to be booked to the DA account. She said the current draft “appears to be an increase in the taxes by approximately $0.66 per $1,000 pending final county information.” The board set a timeline for next steps, including a public hearing on the preliminary budget before the regular Nov. 12 meeting and a special meeting Nov. 18 for budget adoption.
