The chair provided updates on several county construction projects. Work at the new engineer's office includes installation of camera mounts by Barcom and floor work scheduled for Friday; the chair advised contractors to stay clear of the space while flooring is completed. For the new Conservation Building, the chair said the general contractor, Alan, is still working on a price for an extra-work change order, so that agenda item was removed until the figure is available.
The chair also reported that Chad's building has its overhead doors and that water and electrical are in place though a panel remains to be installed. The board did not take action on change orders at the meeting; staff indicated the change order will return when pricing is complete.
