The Open Space and Recreation Committee directed consultant Steve Zablotny to prepare a park-assessment summary and bring sign-design examples to a March meeting so the committee can present options before the April Town meeting, when it expects to request funds for initial sign construction. Cheryl Doble said those two deliverables were included in Steve’s proposal and will help the committee consider park character and design choices.
Committee members also agreed to use the name "Church Street Tennis Park" for the Church Street sign. The committee plans to meet with town staff (including DPW) to review next steps and ensure a deliverable is ready before the month of April.
