Board reports: PTO activity, SEDOL updates and preliminary FY27 calendar items
Summary

Board President Raabia Khan and member Kevin Gas reported favorably on the Joint Annual Conference in Chicago; they described the conference as a positive opportunity to engage with administrators from other districts. Laura Reutzel, representing the PTO, said the PTO will send quarterly emails, encouraged parent volunteering, and noted ticket sales for upcoming events; K— winter parties and Grades 6— pizza were scheduled. Emily Savino reported that SEDOL has hired a new superintendent and approved a new tuition model.
The Board also previewed preliminary agenda topics for the next meeting, including a resolution establishing Fiscal Year 2027, the 2026'7 school-year calendar and personnel items. Communication points such as board streaming and minutes were noted.
