Conley said the group received a $52,000 bid from Modular Trail Systems for a prefabricated boardwalk and platform but noted that bid did not include installation or signage. She said the group is pursuing grants, using Southern Conservation Partners as a fiscal sponsor while awaiting formal 501(c)(3) status, and planning fundraising events such as a Spring Fling Venus Flytrap festival and merchandise sales to cover costs.
