Public meeting on Land Use Plan set for Jan. 28 as board outlines two-year timeline

Commissioner Kim Sherwood asked for an estimated completion date for the Land Use Plan and Assistant City Manager Nicole Morgan said the project "is budgeted for two years and will not be completed until the next fiscal year." The board confirmed the Planning Board has completed several chapters but that the overall plan remains a multi-year effort.
Commissioner Teagan Hall announced a Community Input Meeting on the Land Use Plan for Jan. 28 at the Community Center and encouraged residents to attend and provide input. The board said department head budget meetings and the Capital Projects Committee will inform the plan’s implementation and priorities.
