Sheriff Ryan Swope asked commissioners if they would match $500 toward the Ugly Sweater Boosterpalooza fundraiser; the sheriff offered two event tickets to commissioners as an in-kind distribution. Commissioners approved a motion "to use $500.00 of the Social Fund to support the Grayling Youth Booster event with a match from Youth Services Fund." The motion was made by Commissioner Kraycs and carried on roll call.
The event is scheduled for Dec. 6 at the Grayling Eagles Hall; tickets were noted in the record as $30 for one or $50 for two. The minutes record the board's commitment to the match; implementation is assigned to the appropriate fund custodian.
