Administration recommended a new five-year (60-month) agreement with Impact, Inc. to replace the district's aging high-speed printers and copiers. The district reported negotiated reductions in monthly payments and an expanded monthly allotment of impressions to lower overage risk; the contract includes maintenance and an option to reopen terms at the 24-month mark for possible maintenance escalation of 2–4%.
The board approved the contract on Jan. 8. Administration noted operational changes that will remove standalone color printers in libraries and reallocate tower printers to conference rooms to better support meetings. The motion to approve the new 60-month agreement was made by Brynn Nordmark and seconded by Tracey Morrissey.
