He said staff would verify whether the recent parking fine increases discussed elsewhere in the packet apply to the Westside parking-management zone and would follow up on outstanding policy questions raised during public comment.
Council members affirmed that budget deliberations next week will be the forum to consider funding the ALPR proposal and related resolutions. Staff reiterated that additional details and any recommended policy language would be provided as part of the budget materials or through follow-up memos to the council before the Aug. 17 hearing.
