The Board authorized a $225,000 contract with IMS Technology & Security to implement a comprehensive access control system and integrated security camera network at the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
The contract (Resolution 2026-0588) is funded from the Permanent Improvement Fund and is effective Aug. 1, 2026, through Jan. 31, 2027. Commissioner Charles A. Patterson moved to authorize the contract and the motion passed unanimously. The County Administrator was authorized to execute the purchase order and related documents.
The resolution says the work is part of the county’s capital improvement program. No specific vendor timeline beyond the effective dates was discussed at the meeting.
