Board unanimously approves routine motions including excusing absent member and adjournment
Summary
At the Sept. 15 hearing the Brady Public Schools board unanimously excused an absent member, approved the meeting agenda, and carried motions to close hearings and adjourn. All recorded motions passed with 5-0 votes.
Early in the meeting Bryan Franzen moved and Marge Spencer seconded a motion to excuse absent board member Tina Golter; the motion passed with all five voting members recorded as "Yea." Sara Gentry moved and Marge Spencer seconded approval of the agenda; that motion also passed unanimously.
Subsequent procedural motions included closing the budget hearing (motion by Necole Miller, second by Bryan Franzen) and the final adjournment (motion by Bryan Franzen, second by Marge Spencer); both motions passed 5-0. The session recorded no patron comments on either the budget hearing or the Property Tax Request Hearing.
