Clark County accepts $1.242M OPWC loan and $1.3M grant for sewer and resurfacing projects

On July 15 the Clark County Board of Commissioners accepted two Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) awards supporting infrastructure work in the county.
The board accepted a $1,242,000 OPWC loan (OPWC Project ID: CK06AD) to fund the Park Layne LS Sewer Forcemain Replacement and Sewer Rehab Project. Commissioners also accepted a $1,300,000 OPWC grant for the Clark County–Springfield Township 2026 Resurfacing Project; both actions are effective July 1, 2026. Each resolution passed unanimously.
County officials recorded the funding source and authorized the county administrator to execute related documents. The loan and grant together represent capital investments aimed at sewer reliability and surface transportation improvements in the county.
