Board reminds members of mandatory harassment and workplace violence trainings Aug. 12

The planning board reminded members of mandatory harassment training (9–10 a.m.) and workplace violence training (10–11 a.m.) on Aug. 12 and asked members to notify staff if they will be absent so attendance requirements are met.
Chair Greg told members an Aug. 12 training covers harassment from 9–10 a.m. and workplace violence from 10–11 a.m. and that an email notice was sent by Lee on July 17.
"There is a training event coming up here on the August 12, which is Wednesday. The harassment training is from 9 to 10, and the workplace violence training is from 10 to 11," Chair Greg said. He asked members to notify the board if they cannot attend so the board can comply with attendance requirements.
The board also noted a hazardous waste collection day planned for Aug. 8. Members agreed staff should circulate training and collection notices that were not yet widely distributed.
