He said the adjustments draw on unappropriated ending fund balances tied to projects and on contingency rather than producing a material, long‑term change to the city’s five‑year forecast.
Member William Johnson moved to recommend the budget adjustment to council and Chair Leslie Schachner seconded. The committee voted in favor and the motion carried. The committee also discussed smaller adjustments (library locker funds, tree‑fund professional services, and a cooling‑center grant rollover) and asked staff to provide supporting schedules and Socrata links to make quarterly data more accessible to members and the public.
