On retail general and artisans displaying goods on yards, staff noted a temporary/events section already allows limited displays under size limits so yards are not turned into commercial fronts. Commissioners favored AUPs for retail general and personal services in RM and recommended UP or AUP depending on scale in RL/RR. One commissioner said mixed-use live-work (retail below, residence above) could be permitted in RM with appropriate standards.
