The City Council later adopted a Negative Declaration on Jan. 24, 2024 and enacted Local Law No. 1-2024 to regulate cannabis retail dispensaries and consumption sites; staff said this Code revision renders the current application a Type II action under SEQRA (6 NYCRR (c)(18)).
The board therefore concluded the SEQRA process for this application. Members discussed interdepartmental referrals and confirmed the application was circulated to Fire, Police, Water Bureau, DPW, and the City Engineer for comment.
