The board approved an overnight stay for the varsity football team traveling to Moscow for an away game. Staff said about 45 students will travel, three coaches will stay overnight and departure is approximately 9 a.m. the day of the trip with return the following day. "They're gonna approximate leave time in the morning on going up is at 9AM and leave time coming back the next day. There'll be approximately 45 students," staff said.
Trustees discussed chaperone ratios; staff reported there is not a strict required ratio but they generally aim for more chaperones for safety. The motion to approve the overnight stay passed by voice vote.
