Daggett County approves multiple equipment purchases and accepts surplus truck bids

The Daggett County Commission approved a package of procurement and surplus items at the June 9 meeting. Commissioners approved a sole-source purchase to Road Solutions for $13,446.90 for the Road Department, a printer purchase to Dex Imaging for $5,385.61 (presented by IT Director Cordell McCracken), and new radar units for the Sheriff’s Office to Kustom Signals, Inc. for $5,679.92.
During the surplus sale, a 2016 Ford F150 Super-crew Cab (VIN ending GKF56918) with 86,965 miles sold to Hadley Palmer for $14,300. A 2015 Ford F-150 4x4 (VIN ending FKD42799) with 96,334 miles received a high bid of $12,200 that did not meet reserve; nonetheless Commissioner Lytle moved to approve and accept both bids as presented and the motion carried. All procurement motions were carried by recorded vote.
