Council approves new stage lighting and repairs for Pickers Pavilion

Tourism Director Seong MacLaren told the council Pickers Pavilion stage lights have been in use for more than a decade and presented two replacement options. Council approved the first option from East Texas Productions at a cost of $8,816.80.
City Manager Carolyn Caldwell outlined planned backdrop and cement floor improvements for the pavilion and said costs would be covered by hotel/motel funds; the council approved repairs and upgrades not to exceed $10,000. Motions for both items passed unanimously.
