The Levelland City Council appointed Kylie Boggs to fill a vacancy on the Levelland Community Development Corporation after Bobby Neal submitted his resignation; Neal's term was due to expire in 2026. Michael Stueart moved to appoint Boggs and Jaime McCabe seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Council also approved a 20-year sponsorship agreement between the Levelland Economic Development Corporation and the Wallace Theater. Jaime McCabe moved the sponsorship motion and Max Ledesma seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Both actions were procedural votes taken without extended discussion. The LCDC will consider the FY26 project prioritization at its July 21 meeting; Parks Director Dustin Reichelt had presented a preliminary list of projects for LCDC consideration earlier in the meeting.
