Board approves $327,000 backup system, new van and digital curriculum licenses

As part of the consent agenda, the Forest Hills board approved an award to Trace3 LLC for a backup system replacement not to exceed $327,000 and authorized purchase of a full-size 10-passenger van from Mobility Works for up to $62,925. The consent package also included instructional resources and software purchases: Albert.io ($76,370), IXL ($198,000), Pre-AP English 1 & 2 ($24,190) and QuickReads ($73,100).
Those purchases were approved collectively by a 6–0 vote under the consent grouping; committee chairs and members noted the items in their reports but the consent package drew no separate debate. The board packet lists each purchase and the not-to-exceed amounts.
