"That the Board of Education enter a closed session pursuant to Section 8(h) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act, MCL 15.268(h), to discuss attorney‑client privileged communication with legal counsel," Treasurer Claudia T. Heinrich moved; Angie F. Smith supported the motion. A roll call vote recorded ayes from Cheryl B. Blau, Claudia T. Heinrich, Ronald Recinto, Angie F. Smith and Terri A. Weems; there were no nays. The board moved to closed session at 4:05 p.m.
Secretary Cheryl B. Blau had called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance. The roll call at the start of the meeting listed Terri A. Weems as president, Cheryl B. Blau as secretary, Claudia T. Heinrich as treasurer, and trustees Ronald Recinto and Angie F. Smith as present. Donald Walker Jr., vice president, and Thomas Hull, trustee, were recorded as absent.
