Director of Technology Susan Bordewyk briefed the committee on spring testing preparations, saying the district has 1:1 device access for M‑STEP and that secondary students use a mix of Chromebooks and personal devices. Bordewyk reported additional BenQ boards were installed over spring break in a building meeting space, the media center and two classrooms in each building, and that staff training on the BenQ panels is ongoing.
Bordewyk also described the Summer Internship Program, which the district advertises on college job boards; the paid internships provide students with hands‑on experience and help staff complete summer projects across the district.
