The Farmington Board of Education voted 5-0 on Dec. 2, 2025, to adopt six policy updates recommended by Miller Johnson and the Board’s Policy/Board Governance Committee. Vice President Donald Walker moved the adoption; Trustee Thomas J. Hull supported the motion. The roll call vote recorded Ayes from Trustees Claudia T. Heinrich, Hull, Ronald Recinto, Walker and President Terri Weems.
The policies adopted included Policy 6002 (Safety and Security), a revised Policy 2003 (Education Records - Directory Information), Policy 2002 (Learning and Achievement), two entries listed as Policy 4003 (Employee Salary Schedule and Conditions of Employment) and Policy 6014 (Facility Dog). Board minutes state there was no discussion preceding the vote. The Board waived a second reading and adopted the package as presented. The action was recorded as a roll call vote and reflected in the meeting minutes.
