Council approves KSA Engineering GIS update for water and sewer system

Ted Scheiner of KSA Engineering described the system as an AutoCAD‑based GIS that will make it easier for city staff to track and update infrastructure. "There will be a one-time fee of $5125.00 for installation of the program," Scheiner said, and he told the council there may be additional fees for future additions or changes to the dataset.
The motion to approve the task order was moved by Councilmember Jeff Neu, seconded by Councilmember Klay Gilbert, and carried 5–0. City officials did not provide a detailed breakdown of recurring maintenance or update fees at the meeting; staff will follow up with contract documents and any future change orders.
