The Public Property and Buildings Committee of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury on Oct. 14 authorized submitting an application to the DEQ Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) to support a proposed greenspace at the site currently occupied by Police Jury Complex II. "Matt Pullin offered a motion, seconded by T.J. Cranford, to authorize the submittal," and the motion carried with YEAS: Williams, Cranford, Hunt, Pullin, and Melton.
The committee also voted to engage Shuler Consulting Company to assist with the application and design work for the Park/Greenspace Project. "Matt Pullin offered a motion, seconded by Logan Hunt, to authorize the engagement of Shuler Consulting Company," the minutes state; that motion likewise passed unanimously. Committee members did not take additional action on the presentation itself, which outlined the possibility of converting the Police Jury Complex II site into a public greenspace.
