The Winter Harbor Selectmen approved routine board business at their Aug. 11 meeting, voting to adopt the July 28, 2025 meeting minutes and to approve Warrants #6 (Aug. 5) and #7 (Aug. 7). The minutes approval carried 2-0; the warrants vote was recorded as 3-0.
Officials also approved the Treasurer’s Report dated Aug. 7, 2025 and the Tax Collector’s Report dated Aug. 7, 2025. Financial details presented to the board included a Trio-General Ledger balance of $613,251.14 (as of Aug. 7, 2025), a six-month certificate of deposit worth $105,382.87, and bond investments listed at $3,499,504.31 (5/31/2025) and $3,522,980.90 (6/30/2025). The Tax Collector reported taxes receivable of $30,730.02 for FY25 (98.75% collected) and $5,610.55 for FY24 (99.74% collected).
