Superintendent Jamie Kraatz told the board Nov. 24 that district enrollment data had been updated and the district had received a portion of a mentorship grant. Kraatz said the district was “1 of 100 school districts to apply for a grant for mentorship, and we received a portion of this grant,” and outlined potential plans for use of the funds.
Kraatz also provided facilities updates: a Sherwood Pool ribbon-cutting is scheduled for Dec. 1 at 10:00 a.m., and a minor motherboard issue with the pool’s fire alarm will not derail the ceremony. He added that Bell Landscaping had performed top dressing and aeration on the Heritage playing field. The minutes summarize these operational updates but do not include detailed enrollment figures or grant award amounts in the published summary.
