Secretary Ken Beber moved to pull Item B (Joint Election Agreement and Contract for Election Services with Denton County) from the consent agenda; Trustee Jeff Burton seconded and the motion to pull passed 5–0. Trustee David Montemayor then moved to approve the remainder of the consent agenda — including approval of the Jan. 21, 2026 regular meeting minutes, SB13 library material acquisitions, and financial and interlocal reports — with Secretary Ken Beber seconding. The motion to approve the consent items (except the pulled election contract) passed 5–0.
The minutes record the items included on the consent agenda by title but do not include attachments within the public minutes. The pulled item will remain under separate consideration at a later date or meeting per standard practice; the open minutes do not record the disposition of the pulled election-services contract beyond the pull vote.
