The Little Elm ISD Board of Trustees voted 6-0 on Nov. 17, 2025 to accept the superintendent's recommendation and to propose termination of employee Jessica Galindo, directing the superintendent to prepare and deliver a final Notice of Proposed Contract Termination by Nov. 25, 2025 and to include procedures for requesting a hearing before an independent hearing examiner.
"I move to accept the Superintendent's recommendation and to propose termination of Jessica Galindo's term contract," Trustee Jason Olson said as he introduced the motion, adding that the board had reviewed a draft notice and the superintendent's reasons prior to the vote. Trustee Ken Beber seconded the motion; the board recorded a unanimous vote in favor.
The motion also authorized the law firm Eichelbaum, Wardell, Hansen, Powell & Muñoz, P.C. to consult with the superintendent, approve the final notice and represent the board if a hearing examiner issues a recommendation. The action taken on Nov. 17 is a proposal to terminate and not a final termination; the minutes show the board discussed personnel in closed session earlier in the evening. The board directed that a copy of the motion be attached to the minutes and the final notice be sent to Galindo.
