Littlefield ISD sets May 3 election, names early‑voting and election officials

On Jan. 23 the Littlefield ISD Board voted to order a general election to fill two At‑Will trustee seats on May 3, 2025. The board approved the Order of General Election and the Notice for Early Voting and Election Day, and set early voting locations and times; the motions carried by unanimous vote (7–0).
The board appointed Otoniel (Niel) Gonzalez as Elections Administrator and Early Voting Clerk; Janine Butler was named Deputy Early Voting Clerk and Central Count Station Manager/Tabulations Supervisor/Central Count Judge; Steven Butler was named Early Voting Ballot Board Judge and Alternate Election Day Judge; and Maria Gonzalez was named Early Voting Ballot Board Alternate Judge and bilingual election clerk. The board also approved a resolution and a Joint Election Agreement to hold a joint election with the City of Littlefield on May 3, 2025.
