Commission directs attorney to draft rules change to recognize departments rather than named staff at meetings

He said removing the line would require a commission action and would be treated as a rules-of-procedure amendment.
Commissioner (mover) made a motion to direct the planning commission attorney to draft a proposed amendment to the rules of procedure changing recognition of people in attendance to recognition by department; the motion was seconded and approved by unanimous voice vote. Mattingly said he would draft the proposed amendment, circulate it for review, and return at a future meeting so the commission can act on the bylaw-style change.
