Abby Baker, director of Grand County Public Health, presented two items: Amendment 1 to the University of Colorado Anschutz agreement to extend the 'Baby and Me' tobacco‑free program from July 1 through June 30 next year for $5,000, and a reimbursement‑rate agreement with Peak Health Alliance to credential and bill for reproductive-health and immunization services.
Baker said the Baby & Me extension "would extend from July 1 until June 30 of next year. The amount of the agreement is $5,000 to public health for providing this program." Commissioners moved to approve Amendment 1 and to authorize Director Baker to sign applicable documents for the Peak Health Reimbursement Agreement; both motions passed by voice vote. Baker also requested a future tour of public-health facilities for commissioners to see the department's work in person.
