Ashley McEwen, director of emergency communications with the sheriff's office, presented a one‑year service agreement to keep dispatch radio consoles updated and operating. "I'm requesting signature on a 1 year service agreement for the dispatch radio consoles," McEwen said. She told commissioners the term was one year and quoted the amount, which the transcript recorded as $32,286.08.
Commissioner (speaker 2) moved to approve the Motorola support agreement and to authorize the chair to sign applicable documents; the motion passed by voice vote. The board noted that maintaining console service is critical to emergency response capacity and that the agreement ensures vendor support and warranty coverage.
