Three memorial trees to be planted in Centennial Park during Arbor Day

"All 3 of those trees are going into Centennial," Kevin said, offering to visit the park to stake locations and to coordinate with public works so holes can be pre‑dug. Board members emphasized the need for watering plans and enough volunteers to place and mulch the trees, noting that if water access is unavailable volunteers may have to carry water from the creek.
The board also agreed to include a short proclamation read by the mayor during the event and to allow extra time after the proclamation to complete plantings. The group planned a 12:30 walk and short demo following the planting and confirmed partner participation from the garden club and Crossroads Rotary for the dedication.
