Calvert expands early college, adds career advisers in every secondary school

She reported that early college participation has risen from 16 students two years ago to 44 this year (a 175% increase) and that the district will add a two‑year early college option next year, projecting further growth. The district said these early college options "come at no cost to the students or the families," and that one career adviser has been hired at every middle and high school to support students in selecting CCR pathways by the end of 8th grade.
