Commissioners approve 25-year ground lease transfer for Hangar D at county airport

Airport staff presented a lease termination and a new 25-year ground lease for Hangar D. Sean Mahorney said the hangar is selling from OKC Investments to Dayhas Ventures LLC; Dayhas will pay a prorated $434 for this year and the normal annual ground-lease amount is approximately $1,500.
Commissioners first approved the termination of the existing lease and then unanimously approved the new ground lease with Dayhas Ventures, authorizing signature to complete the transfer. Staff said the new lease includes a standard 25-year term.
