County approves two state‑reimbursed purchases of runway ‘X’ lights to boost airport safety

Commissioners discussed the combined sale/grant nature of the transaction and approved a motion to purchase the two items and accept the state reimbursement arrangement. The board authorized the chair to sign any necessary documents to accept the 80% state reimbursement, and the purchases will be carried out through the airports' procurement process.
