Sheriff's office staff presented multiple justice-services contracts for the board’s approval. The board unanimously approved two 14th Judicial District subgrantee agreements that would have Grand County act as a fiscal agent and as a subcontractor with neighboring jurisdictions to provide juvenile detention-continuum services.
Aaron Trainer described additional services contracts, including a services agreement with Rocky Mountain Clinic LLC for medication-assisted treatment at the Grand County Jail. "Basically, gives us a $150,000 to participate in the jail based behavioral services program," he said. The board approved the MAT services contract and also voted to accept a Jefferson County juvenile-screening agreement for $8,108.65 and a therapeutic-services contract not-to-exceed $78,000. Commissioners authorized signature of applicable documents.
