Commissioners discuss EMS use of municipal building and storage for medications

Commissioner Tebs told the board the municipal building authority (MBA) holds a building the county occupies and that EMS personnel will use space in that building. "MBA, municipal building authority actually holds the building," Tebs said; he said the county would need to draft an agreement to clarify how EMS can use the space and noted the possibility of building a small secure area to store medications because there is no closet in the office.
Commissioners said staff (including Camille and Caden) will work on the agreement and examine insurance and vehicle‑use questions tied to the arrangement. The matter was flagged for executive session later in the meeting as personnel and coordination with the fire district were discussed.
