Scott Haid, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, told the Finance Committee that several curriculum initiatives are moving forward and will be presented to the Board. "Changes to the Flex Academy will be presented to the Board Curriculum Committee," Haid said, and the K-12 Dyslexia Law planning team, K-6 Report Card committee and K-6 Trails team have met to align next steps.
Haid said the district plans to present three supplemental resources to the full Board for approval: Albert.io, QuickReads and IXL, and that junior kindergarten monthly review recommendations will also be presented. The committee received the update as informational; no Board-level approvals were recorded in the committee minutes.
