During its May 15 joint meeting, Floyd County’s board approved several routine items including authorization for the Crowe contract, appointments to the Economic Development Commission, and Resolution 2026-07 permitting auction sale of Road Department surplus property.
Commissioner Jason Sharp moved to approve the Crowe contract and authorize Commissioner Al Knable to sign outside the meeting; the motion passed unanimously. Jason Sharp and others also were approved to serve on Economic Development Commission seats after motions from Frank Loop and Al Knable. Attorney Kristi Fox presented Resolution 2026-07 for surplus property sale; Commissioner Frank Loop moved to pass the resolution and Jason Sharp seconded — the resolution passed unanimously.
The meeting minutes record unanimous votes for these items; the transcript does not include contract dollar amounts for the Crowe contract or detailed lists of surplus property beyond the general description in the resolution.
