City planning staff told council April 2 that the city will release the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and comprehensive-plan materials on April 11. The regulations under review include a mobile-home-park overlay; staff said the planning commission will revisit the proposals at the end of April and the council can expect a public hearing and adoption consideration roughly two months afterward.
A councilmember asked staff to ensure full copies are distributed to council as soon as possible so members have time to review the materials prior to the public hearing. Staff agreed to provide copies upon release and to schedule the public hearing consistent with state notice requirements.
Next steps: release of the final EIS and comp plan materials on April 11 and staff distribution to council, then a public hearing and possible adoption in the subsequent two months.
